Yeah for snowboarding...in Japan

Trevor made it to Japan with amazing timing just like a rockstar before a big show.  The night he got in it was dumping so we did the following.

Night 1. Sushi, Beer, Wax and prepping for JAPOW.

Day 1. 40cm of fresh blower..

So stoked..

Made it.

Trevor made it to Japan...and it been non-stop snowboarding since Sunday Morning.

More Hakkoda Backcountry Madness

As Winter continues the snow keep coming, but not without a few sunny days mixed in.  At Hakkoda its pretty rare to see the sun at all during the months of January or the early parts of February.  So when it comes out, its on and you have to take full advantage of the short sunshine.  My Friend Mukai-san and took a little hike off the backside of the ropeway for some super fresh tracks.  The terrain and creativity possibilities are endless and its always an adventure when hiking to the goods.  Here are a few shots from the day and the hike.
